The Midi-Pyrenees offers an amazing opportunity to watch a wide variety of  Birds of  Prey including Buzzards, Eagles, Falcons, Kites and  Vultures.

The most impressive of these is the magnificent bearded vulture also known as the Lammergeier an immense bird with a wingspan of up to 3 metres. Smaller woodland birds like the Crested Tit, Firecrest and Black Woodpecker can also be seen. Alpine birds such as Red-billed and Alpine Choughs, Rock Thrush and Snowfinches.  Please let us know which birds you have caught sight of and add to our Visitors Book.
